Awareness is me
Abundance of love I see
Happiness is me
Soaring and free
I just returned from an amazing trip to the beautiful South Lake Tahoe with several of my childhood friends. As always right before these annual events I get a sense of insecurity and anxiety. Some years it has been so intense I didn't even go and quickly regretted it but my intuition often leads the way.
This four day excursion began with an almost 3 hour drive. Two cars six friends. My co-pilot and I listened to The Greatest Secret by Rhonda Byrne. The author instructs us to welcome negative feelings.
That's right welcome negative feelings in order to be awareness and find our bliss. I highly recommend the audio version. While my co-pilot stared off into the wild blue yonder and took in the beauty of the Sierras I contemplated the Greatest Secret and how it would mesh with my life.
I am at the cusp of a new life. One very different from what I have been accustomed to and it can be very overwhelming. What is out there for me? How can I find this bliss? What is my next calling?
Our little group had some set backs as we are all aging and come with what that entails. That aside we had a joyful time reminiscing, supporting each other and had lots of laughs. Like when we tried to unlock the door of the wrong condo and singing Pink Pony in the karaoke Uber.
One thing for sure is that I realized these women care for one another still after all these years and will continue to for many more to come. How many of you have this in your life?
What is next for this author?
Another book?
I will be signing up for a Reiki Level One class soon. Let's see if this soon to be 67 year old can find her bliss!💝
